The following size of windscreen chip damage can be repaired in accordance with the British Standard Code of Practice BS AU 242a:1998
A chip in your windscreen can be dangerous and could be a MOT failure if it’s not repaired. If its not repaired it could lead to the chip cracking and then it will need replacing. Repairing a chip on average takes 20 minutes to complete and the vehicle can be used as soon as its done.
